With roots re-established in the city she loves, she continues to represent and elevate the Austin design community through thoughtful, construction-driven residential design. Raised in Austin, Texas, Samantha followed her passion for design to Texas State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. During her studies, she interned with Austin’s renowned Britt Design Group, gaining hands-on experience in high-end residential interiors. After graduation, Samantha moved to Dallas and joined one of the nation’s Top 100 Design Giants, where she worked on large-scale residential projects and honed her technical expertise. In 2012, she founded Samantha Kate Interior Design, building a practice that bridges creativity with construction-level precision. For the past decade, Samantha has served as the Lead Interior Designer and Creative Director for New Leaf Custom Homes and The Design Shop Dallas, directing the interiors department for an award-winning builder known for its craftsmanship and innovation.
